This episode we are reviewing DC’s latest standalone superhero film Shazam! In this review, we discuss our likes and dislikes with the overall tone of the film, whether or not this movie was targeted for kids or adults, and if DC is finally getting their brand on track.
I thought it was a great film I enjoyed the tone they have for this film It’s not suppose to be taking that serious and I do appreciate the light tone whereas other DC films like Man of Steel and BVS were trying too hard to be way too serious. I dont think of this as being a kids film I just think of it as “Big (the tom hanks film) but a superhero film” I’m not thinking of it as something just for kids to watch.
