In today’s discussion, we head to the movies! Straight Outta Compton, a movie detailing the history of N.W.A. Breaking on the scene in 1988, N.W.A. unintentionally revolutionized the hip hop scene with their ‘Straight Outta Compton’ album. Hip hop movies are rare these days. According to Ice Cube, Straight Outta Compton took 10 years to make because they wanted to make sure all the details were correct. This movie was a walk down memory lane for a few us because outside of Feefo, we grew up on N.W.A. If you watched it, let us know what you think of the film in the comment section below.
