Ironman…20 Years Later

1996 was an incredible year for hip hop. On October 29th, Ghostface released his 1st “solo” album, Ironman. It was an album that featured fellow Wu Tang Clan members, Raekwon and Cappadona. This album was widely heralded as one of the best albums from 1996. On this episode of The 12Kyle Podcast, I will discuss the Ironman album. I will break down the tracks and discuss the production. I will also talk about the significance of the album and where it ranks among the other albums from 1996.

Tribe Called Quest is one of the most influential groups in the history of Hip Hop influencing countless artists and groups such as Outkast, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and many more. This album is announced as the last album for the legendary group after the passing of group member Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor. Rest In Peace to a legendary Hip Hop artist and great person.
